COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

His Excellency Dr Rajendra Singh was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Co-operative Republic of Guyana in London.

Mrs Singh was also received by Her Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms Thandazile Mbuyisa was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Kingdom of Eswatini in London.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The Lord Janvrin was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Secretary and Registrar of the Order of Merit when Her Majesty handed him the Badge and Chain of Office.

The Queen, Duke of Lancaster this afternoon received Sir Alan Reid (Chairman of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster) and Mr Nathan Thompson (Chief Executive Officer).

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Tabernacle, 34-35 Powis Square, London W11, in advance of the Notting Hill Carnival and were received by Lady Arnold (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness, Royal Founding Patron, the Royal Drawing School, this afternoon held a Meeting at Clarence House.

The Prince of Wales held a Meeting at Clarence House with business leaders from the Commonwealth.

His Royal Highness, Royal Founding Patron, the Royal Drawing School, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, this afternoon attended The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Cricket Day in the Home Park, Windsor.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today attended the One Hundred and Fiftieth Open at the Old Course, St Andrews, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr Robert Balfour).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice-Patron, National Churches Trust, this morning received Mr Luke March upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Sir Philip Rutnam upon assuming the appointment.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Friends of St Paul’s Cathedral, this afternoon attended the Seventieth Annual Festival in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.
