Windsor Castle
The Queen received the Bishop of Rochester (the Right Reverend Dr Jonathan Gibbs) today via video link who did homage upon his appointment.
Her Majesty also received the Bishop of Bath and Wells (the Right Reverend Michael Beasley) via video link who did homage upon his appointment.
The Bishop of Carlisle (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance and administered the Oaths.
The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.
Afterwards Captain Krishnaprasad Loksam, The Royal Gurkha Rifles, and Captain Suren Limbu, Gurkha Staff and Personnel Support, (The Queen’s Gurkha Orderly Officers) were received by Her Royal Highness who, on behalf of Her Majesty, invested them with the Insignia of Members of the Royal Victorian Order.
Colonel David Robinson (Colonel, Brigade of Gurkhas) was present.
By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Erlan Idrissov at Kazakhstan House, 125 Pall Mall, London SW1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Court of St James’s.

The Prince of Wales this morning joined a Trustees’ Meeting for The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness this evening held a Meeting for the Sustainable Markets Initiative via video link.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, this afternoon gave a Reception at Clarence House for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

The Princess Royal, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, this morning received Commodore Jeremy Bailey upon relinquishing his appointment as Naval Base Commander (Portsmouth) and Commodore John Voyce upon assuming the appointment.
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of London, later attended the Worldwide Graduation Ceremony at Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London NW1, and was received by Mrs Sandra Cahill (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Kent this evening attended a performance of Der Fliegende Holländer by Richard Wagner at Grange Park Opera, Theatre in the Woods, West Horsley Place, West Horsley, and was received by Mrs Mary Creswell (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).
