Windsor Castle

The Queen, accompanied by The Princess Royal, this morning visited Thames Hospice, Windsor Road, Maidenhead, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley), the Chairman of the Trustees (Mr Jonathan Jones) and Mrs Deborah Raven (Chief Executive).

Her Majesty and Her Royal Highness, escorted respectively by the Chairman of the Trustees and the Chief Executive, met members of staff, volunteers, trustees and patients before The Queen officially opened the new Hospice.

The Princess Royal afterwards toured the Hospice, meeting more members of staff and patients.

The Prince of Wales this morning held a Meeting with representatives from the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall.

His Royal Highness, Duke of Cornwall today held a Duchy Land Stewards Meeting.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, this afternoon visited Educ8, Tredomen Gateway, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Brigadier Robert Aitken).
