Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Ms Nimisha Madhvani was received in audience by The King today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Uganda in London.

His Excellency Mr Bader Mohammad Al Awadi was received in audience by His Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the State of Kuwait to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan visited The King this afternoon.

The Queen Consort this morning planted a Cross of Remembrance in the Field of Remembrance at St Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

The Lord Davies of Gower (Lord in Waiting) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt this afternoon upon the Arrival of The King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and welcomed His Majesty on behalf of The King.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited the Congress Theatre, 50 Gwent Square, Cwmbran, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary and was received by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Brigadier Robert Aitken).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today visited Torfaen Learning Zone, Coleg Gwent, St David’s Road, Cwmbran.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon opened Gwent Police Headquarters, Llantarnam Park Way, Cwmbran.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, World Horse Welfare, this morning attended the Annual Conference at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Wetwheels Foundation, this afternoon attended a Reception at Mansion House, London EC4.
