The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Melsetter House, Longhope, Hoy, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Orkney (Mrs. Elaine Grieve).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited YM Community Hall, Longhope.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay subsequently visited Rogart Mart, Rogart, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Sutherland (Major General Patrick Marriott).

The Countess of Wessex this morning attended a Meeting with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to discuss the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative.

Her Royal Highness today held a Meeting via telephone with Dr Denis Mukwege (Founder and Medical Director, Panzi Hospital and Foundation).
