The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Queen was represented by Lieutenant Colonel Sir Alexander Matheson of Matheson, Bt (Senior Gentleman Usher to Her Majesty) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Rear Admiral Colin Cooke-Priest (Extra Gentleman Usher to The Queen and formerly Senior Gentleman Usher) which was held in Portsmouth Cathedral, Hampshire, today.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Irish Cultural Centre Hammersmith, 5 Black’s Road, London W6, to mark its Twenty Fifth Anniversary and were received by Mr John Barber (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon received the Governor-General of Canada (Her Excellency the Rt Hon. Mary Simon) and Mr Whit Fraser.

His Royal Highness received the Rt Hon Nadhim Zahawi MP (Secretary of State for Education).

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust Canada, afterwards held a Meeting via video link to launch The Prince’s Trust Canada Green Jobs and the Future of Work Programme.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Collection Trust, later opened Pug Yard Learning Centre, Windsor Castle.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Big Lunch, this afternoon attended the judging of the Platinum Pudding Competition at Fortnum and Mason, 181 Piccadilly, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the National Literacy Trust, later received Dame Julia Cleverdon upon relinquishing her appointment as Chairman and Mrs Joanna Prior upon assuming the appointment.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Kenya and was received this evening upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya (Her Excellency Ms Jane Marriott).

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Lunch with Ms Bineta Dinop (African Union Special Envoy on Women, Peace and Security).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting at the United Nations’ Headquarters held by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, the Group of Friends of Women in Afghanistan and United Nations Women.

The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner held by Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security.
