The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, this morning visited The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys) at Leuchars Station and was received by The Duke of Kent (Deputy Colonel-in-Chief), Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr Robert Balfour), the Regimental Colonel (Brigadier David Allfrey) and Lieutenant Colonel Dominic Coombes (Commanding Officer).

Her Majesty was received with a Royal Salute and inspected the Parade from the State Review Range Rover before presenting the Regiment with a New Standard.

The Queen was graciously pleased to address the Parade and the Regimental Colonel replied.

The Regiment subsequently marched past Her Majesty and off Parade.

The Queen afterwards walked to the Hangar, meeting members of the local community who support the Regiment, before viewing a display of equipment and vehicles and meeting families of the Regiment.

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were entertained to Luncheon in the Officers’ Mess by the Regimental Colonel this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales this morning attended a Reception at Aneurin Bevan Hospital, Ebbw Vale, to mark the Seventieth Anniversary of the National Health Service and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Brigadier Robert Aitken).

His Royal Highness later visited Tretower Court, Crickhowell, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Powys (the Hon Dame Shân Legge-Bourke).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon opened the newly restored Corn Exchange, High Street, Crickhowell.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Landmark Trust, afterwards visited Llwyn Celyn Farmstead, Crucorney Fawr, Monmouthshire, and was received by Mr Murray Kerr (Deputy Lieutenant of Gwent).

The Prince of Wales this evening held a Reception for His Royal Highness’s charities
and patronages in Wales.

The Duchess of Cornwall this evening held a Fiftieth Anniversary Reception for the Man Booker Prize at Buckingham Palace.

Prince William, Earl of Strathearn, Honorary Fellow, the Royal Society of Edinburgh, this afternoon presented Royal Medals at 22-26 George Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the
Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness later attended the Annual Service of Commemoration at the Scottish National War Memorial, Edinburgh Castle, and laid a wreath.

Prince William, Earl of Strathearn, this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the Seventieth Anniversary of the National Health Service Scotland at the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh.

The Duke of Sussex, Commonwealth Youth Ambassador, and The Duchess of Sussex this evening attended a Commonwealth Youth Forum Reception at Marlborough House, St James’s, London SW1.

The Duke of York, Patron, Services Sound and Vision Corporation, this morning attended a Graduation Ceremony at the Forces Media Academy, Chalfont Grove, Narcot Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, and was received by Mr Allan Westray (Deputy Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire).

His Royal Highness, Patron, On Course Foundation, this afternoon attended a Golf Day in the Great Park, Windsor Castle.
