The Queen arrived at Balmoral Castle today, was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby) and then inspected the Royal Guard found by C Company, The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning viewed Cowes Week Races from the Royal Yacht Squadron Platform, Cowes, and later at sea, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Major General Martin White).
Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended an English Heritage Reception at Osborne House, York Avenue, East Cowes.
