The Countess of Wessex, representing The Queen, this morning took the salute at The Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Camberley, Surrey.

The Queen arrived at Balmoral Castle today, was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeenshire (Mr James Ingleby) and then inspected the Royal Guard found by C Company, The Royal Scots Borderers, 1st Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning viewed Cowes Week Races from the Royal Yacht Squadron Platform, Cowes, and later at sea, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Major General Martin White).

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended an English Heritage Reception at Osborne House, York Avenue, East Cowes.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Reids of Caithness Bakery, 3 High Street, Thurso, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Caithness (Miss Anne Dunnett).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Plantlife International, afterwards visited the Coronation Meadow, Burn of Midsands (Greenland Links), Thurso, as part of the Coronation Meadows Initiative.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today visited the Isle of Wight and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Major General Martin White).

Her Royal Highness this morning opened the new Mattinson Headquarters and Training Centre at Corf Camp Site, Corf Road, Shalfleet, Newport.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited the offices of Cowes Week Limited, Regatta House, Bath Road, Cowes.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited John Cheverton Centre at Earl Mountbatten Hospice, Halberry Lane, Newport.

The Princess Royal later visited the Classic Boat Museum, Albany Road, East Cowes.

Her Royal Highness, Admiral, the Royal London Yacht Club, this evening attended a One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary Dinner at the Royal London Yacht Club, the Parade, Cowes.

Prince Henry of Wales this morning opened the Landing Craft Centre of Excellence, Royal Marines Tamar, HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth, and was received by Sir John Cave, Bt (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Devon).

Her Royal Highness, Commandant-in-Chief (Youth), St John Ambulance, this afternoon visited the Regional Youth Camp at Cherry Garth Scout Campsite, Humberston Avenue, New Waltham, Grimsby, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Anthony Worth).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this afternoon visited Highland Fine Cheeses Limited, Blairliath Farm, Shore Road, Tain, Ross-shire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty (Mrs Christopher Bowen).

The Duke of Kent today presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade) to Plant Parts Limited, Crockatt Road, Hadleigh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Suffolk (the Lord Tollemache).
