The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this morning visited the Regiment at Sennybridge Camp, Brecon Beacons, Sennybridge, near Brecon, Powys, and later presented the Fentiman Shield.

The Duke of Gloucester later attended a Head of Delegation Luncheon given by The President of the Republic of Korea at the Blue House, 1 Chungwadae-ro, Jongno-gu.

His Royal Highness this afternoon toured Bukcheon, Gahoi-dong, Jongno-gu.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards received the Rt Hon John Key MP (Prime Minister of New Zealand).

His Royal Highness this evening received Mr Chun Hong-won (Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea) at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, 322 Sowol-ro, Yongsan-gu.

The Duke of Gloucester subsequently attended a Banquet for Korean War Veterans of all Nations given by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

The Duke of Kent, President-in-Chief, the British Racing Drivers’ Club, this morning attended the Silverstone Classic Festival at Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire.

The Queen, Duke of Lancaster today received Mr Paul Clarke (Chief Executive Officer, the Duchy of Lancaster) and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order on his retirement as Clerk of the Council.

Mr Nathan Thompson (Chief Executive Officer designate) was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Alexander Graham was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Gentleman Usher of the Purple Rod of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and delivered up to Her Majesty the Insignia of Office.

Dame Amelia Fawcett was received by The Queen upon her appointment as Lady Usher of the Purple Rod of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire when Her Majesty handed to her the Insignia of Office.

Mr Alan Ryan was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

Mr Daniel Martell was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Queen this evening gave a Reception for the winners of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise at Buckingham Palace.

A Salute of 41 guns was fired in Green Park this afternoon by The King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Captain John Gibson, and a Salute of 62 guns was fired from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Major David Daniel, in honour of the infant Prince.
