His Royal Highness later took the Salute at a joint British-Kuwaiti Parade to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Kuwaiti Independence, Bayan Palace.

The Prince of Wales today attended a State Luncheon given by The Amir of the State of Kuwait at Bayan Palace.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting with Members of Parliament at the National Assembly, Kuwait City.

The Prince of Wales afterwards met Kuwaiti scholars at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, and subsequently attended a Garden Party and unveiled a plaque to commemorate the United Kingdom’s contribution to Kuwait’s independence and liberation.

His Royal Highness later departed Kuwait for Qatar and was received upon arrival at Doha International Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar (His Excellency Mr. John Hawkins).

The Prince of Wales this evening attended a Dinner given by The Emir of the State of Qatar at Wejbe Palace.

The Duchess of Cornwall this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for South Africa.

His Royal Highness this morning called upon the Sultan of Johor at Isatana Besar Johor.

The Duke of York afterwards visited Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed) and attended the Opening Ceremony at Iskander.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Shell’s Floating Production System for the Gumusut Kakap field at Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering, Pasir Gudang.
