His Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Valley, this afternoon received Group Captain Christopher Moon (Station Commander) and presented The Prince of Wales Trophy to Flight Lieutenant Jonathan Skinner.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception at St James’s Palace to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of His Royal Highness’s Chairmanship of The Prince’s Council.

Mr Santiago Hagerman Arnus was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Yasumasa Nagamine was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Japan to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Nagamine was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and The Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia visited The Queen and remained to Luncheon.

The Prince of Wales afterwards opened the “Apertures of a Revolution. Photographs from December 1989” exhibition at the Romanian Cultural Institute, Belgrave Square, London SW1.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, and Royal Patron, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity, this afternoon received children and young people from the charities and helped them to decorate the Christmas Tree at Clarence House.
